SBA has reopened the Paycheck Protection Program or PPP. First Draw PPP Loans would be used for funding payroll, including benefits. These funds would also be used for mortgage interest, rent, utilities, worker protection costs related to COVID-19, uninsured property damage costs caused by looting or vandalism during 2020, and certain supplier costs and expenses for operations.
Additional PPP funding for small businesses during this pandemic is available. Eligibility requirements for both "first draw" and "second draw" must be met to qualify. Consult a tax professional before applying.
