SBA has reopened the Paycheck Protection Program or PPP.  First Draw PPP Loans would be used for funding payroll, including benefits.  These funds would also be used for mortgage interest, rent, utilities, worker protection costs related to COVID-19, uninsured property damage costs caused by looting or vandalism during 2020, and certain supplier costs and expenses for operations. 

PPP FUNDING IS AVAILABLE

Additional PPP funding for small businesses during this pandemic is available.  Eligibility requirements for both "first draw" and "second draw" must be met to qualify.  Consult a tax professional before applying. 

HOW TO APPLY

Borrowers can apply for a First or Second Draw PPP Loans until March 31, 2021.

WHO CAN APPLY

Eligible small businesses or entities with 500 or fewer employees, including non-profits, veterans organizations, tribal concerns, self-employed individuals, sole proprietorships, and independent contractors can apply.  If more than 500 employees an alternative application may be available.  Please check www.sba.gov/ppp or www.treasury.gov for more information. 

Have you already received a PPP loan? You may apply for a second PPP loan if you meet the following criteria.
  • You have used the full amount of your first PPP loan for authorized use;
  • You have fewer than 300 employees; and
  • You can demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross receipts between comparable quarters in 2020 and 2019.
